Rebrand rollout — national

Identity refresh, social kit and in-store POS for a nationwide retail partner.

Retail store interior with refreshed signage and point-of-sale during a rebrand rollout

Rebrands fail in the gap between the launch deck and the shop floor. A retail partner came to us with a refreshed identity, new colour system, and updated tone of voice — but their challenge was rollout: hundreds of stores, franchisees with different levels of design literacy, and a launch date that could not slip.

We handled the full arc. Identity application across touchpoints, a social kit franchisees could use without breaking the system, and in-store POS that matched what consumers would see on Instagram the same week. The goal was coherence — one brand, one feel, whether you walked into a flagship or a regional store.

The branding work included practical assets, not just guidelines. Templates for stories and posts, signage specs that printers could execute, and POS layouts tested at standard fixture sizes. We optimised for use, because a beautiful brand book that store managers cannot implement is just an expensive PDF.

On-ground promotion ran in parallel with the visual rollout. Promoters in key locations carried the new brand language from digital into conversation — trained on the updated talk track, dressed to match the refreshed identity, and briefed on what had changed and why.

The result was a national rollout that felt intentional rather than patchwork. Franchisees had tools they could actually use. Consumers saw the same brand online and in-store. And the client had a partner who could move from strategy to deliverables without handing off between agencies.

Rebrands are not logo projects. They are operational programmes — and the brands that win treat every touchpoint, including the person at the sampling desk, as part of the same system.
